About The Artist

Joe Hiatt is an actor and filmmaker from Sioux Falls, SD. He graduated from the Universtity of Sioux Falls in 2020 where he studied Theater and Philosophy. As an actor Joe has trained at the Juilliard School and The Green House Ensemble in New York City. 

Joe is the lead actor of the 2016 film Poor Mama’s Boy, which you can watch the trailer for here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aT8L5mjb0g&t=3s . Joe is also the lead in the yet to be released South Dakota-set feature film Fall is a Good Time to Die, which he stars alongside Golden Globe nominated actor Joey Lauren Adams. After a year of living in New York City, Joe worked on a variety of different shows and movies, most notably: Severance season 2, The Gilded Age, and A Complete Unknown.

Joe is a proud South Dakotan and plans to tell stories and make films that take place in this wonderfully interesting state.
