Calls For Proposals

A collaboration between Sioux Falls Arts Council and the Washington Pavilions’ Visual Arts Center to host emerging artists work in the Shultz Gallery. An iteration of the Sioux Falls Arts Councils former Flux Gallery this is an opportunity for a local emerging artist to receive funding to create work for a solo exhibition and present it in the Schultz Gallery for four months.


  • Local artists who live or work in the Greater Sioux Falls Area (Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook and Turner Counties).
  • Ability to create new work for exhibit.

Exhibit Timeframes & Deadlines

  • November 1, 2023 – February 2024
    • Submit by July 24, 2023


Artists selected for this opportunity will receive a $600 stipend from the Sioux Falls Arts Council and a $300 stipend from the Washington Pavilion. Each artists exhibit will be on display in the Visual Arts Centers’ Shultz Gallery for up to four months and have an artist opening reception.
