I began creating handmade ceramic tiles in 2012 in my home studios, one in Tucson, AZ and the other in Sioux Falls, SD.  My tiles are often inspired by my travels and exploring the environment around me resulting in whimsical pieces, often florals and geometric designs. 

I have taken classes from The Ceramic Congress over the years, learning multiple approaches from teachers all over the world; as well as joining Clay Con West this past year, and continue to expand my understanding using new designs, styles, colors and shapes, and playing with new glazes.  

My work gained exposure through private and community murals, usually including dozens of volunteers and community to create the pieces.  Two of my collaborative pieces were featured in the Arizona Daily Star.  I am currently in the process of expanding my local Sioux Falls profile.
