I grew up on a farm outside of Lyons South Dakota. I when to college at Dakota State University for Computer Science but shortly after starting college I decided to add Computer Graphics to my degree.

After college I started painting a little here and there. I found myself painting more and more as the years after college went by. In 2019 I had a strong desire to start to take my painting more serious and started really focusing on improving my skills.
I enjoy doing still life paintings along with landscape in Plein Air. But I have more recently found a love for doing animal portraits.
