I was raised by an artist and an art loving cowboy. My parents both encouraged and helped me grow as an artist in different ways. My mother by exposure to art and creativity from as early as I can remember. She shared her skills and let me choose my own path with art. She also introduced me to the joys of sharing our culture through beadwork and jewelry making. My dad was always my biggest cheerleader and fan. He encouraged and praised me constantly. He also taught me patience, which I constantly use as an artist.
i enjoy all mediums but my focuses have returned home to beadwork and painting. I am new to portrait painting but I have been really enjoying working on them lately.
