Printmaker Rhiannon Glazier creates figurative work in both relief and screen printmaking to explore the interaction of color, line, and texture. Born and raised in Dell Rapids South Dakota, her work is heavily influenced by the natural world and the organic figures within it. Her relief and screen prints have been featured in several of the University of Minnesota Morris annual juried exhibitions, spanning from 2019 to 2022, and she was granted the Lois P. Hodgel Printmaking Award in recognition of her skill. Glazier’s recent work has been influenced by the connection between nature and femininity. She also served a Morris Administrative Fellowship for the 2018-2019 school year and is currently working to complete her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art at the University of Minnesota, Morris campus.
