I started my creative career designing large parade inflatables and have since moved on to creating public art. I like the inherent problem-solving and material exploration that comes with working on large-scale art installations. My process tends to start with questions that I want to examine and the art I create is a by-product of those explorations. I am especially drawn to developing processes and playing with materials. Parallel to my iterative material explorations I often find form through creating digital 3D models. Once I define the direction I want to proceed, I then meticulously plan and execute the fabrication of the final piece.
