After growing up in Crocker, SD, I attended SDSU School of Pharmacy and have been a pharmacist for over 25 years. I currently live in Watertown, SD with my husband, Lee.
After years of creating with different art forms such as watercolor, acrylic, chalk and pencil, I recently found fluid acrylic to fulfill my creative spark. Acrylic fluid art is an abstract impressionistic art form in which paints are made more fluid using various mediums and then manipulated on the canvas using methods such as compressed air, palette knives or by hand. Each piece is original and cannot be replicated. No two pieces will ever be the same and the individuality intrigues me. I like to experiment with different brands of paint, textures, mediums and pouring techniques.
I look forward to every day I am able to paint. It makes my heart happy.
