I was born and raised in Sioux Falls and I have always had a passion for art as far back as I can remember!

I graduated from Southeast Tech in 1998 with a degree in Graphic Communications. I have used the skills I aquired there in various jobs ranging from the Argus Leader as an ad specialist to a graphic designer at a few different printing businesses. I then started doing a few freelance gigs for friends and referrals.

I took some courses online at the Art Institute and gained some valuable art skills. I fell in love with acrylic painting and started painting in 2014. Artistically, I challenged myself with commissioned artwork and experimentation. YouTube has been a great learning resource for me. I tried working with resin and fell in love! I have recently made several sets of jewelry and other resin items.

I have participated in the Recovery Art Show for 5 years and have donated painting sales to Tallgrass Recovery. I have also donated art for silent auctions to raise funds for various other organizations. I have also had a few of my own art shows and have participated in several vendor shows.

I am looking forward to future art adventures!
