Griffin Maurer is a colorblind digital artist with aphantasia (see: unimaginative), so it only makes sense that the quirky creator produces artwork that feels nostalgic yet foreign… futuristic but familiar… Often these abstract art pieces suddenly gain an unspoken narrative, feeling connected to other artworks without direct relation.

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, I’ve been inspired by the local arts scene and is particularly inspired by the trending music and mixed-media scene. My lovely wife, two adorable dogs, and freaky-awesome family have enabled me to explore my passions freely and without judgment!

While “digital artist” best describes the overall artistic position I’ve been in, there’s a passion fueled by fellow creators, musicians, freaks and geeks who choose to push the boundaries of art and music into a new generation.
