I was born in Mitchell, South Dakota, and have lived in the Washington, D.C. area, western Montana, and now Sioux Falls. My parents gave me a great appreciation for the arts. Over the years, I have found that the visual arts provide a healing effect and a sense of community. At this point in my life, I find fulfillment in offering workshops on basic techniques and use of materials for watercolor and mixed media specifically. Beyond the fundamental skills, such workshops help to open the heart, express emotion, and build community.
