Get involved in a theater camp for middle and high school students that will rock. School House Rock Live! is a camp led by Kim Bartling, formerly with the University of Sioux Falls and cofounder of Ephemeral Productions. The camp will include basic instruction in performance techniques, introduction to musical theater, and lots of fun theater games and activities. At the conclusion of the camp there will be a live performance for family and friends to attend.
The camp will be held June 18 through 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is designed for ages 12 to 18 years, with a limit of 30 students. Cost of the camp is $25 and campers should provide their own lunch each day. This camp will be held at Oyate Community Center, located at 2421 West 15th Street. The final performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 21. Call 367-8222 for more information or to register.
