Crow formed in Minneapolis in August 1967. Originally known as the South 40, they had a number of Top 40 hits from 1969 to 1972, including “Evil Woman,” “Slow Down,” “(Don’t Try To Lay No Boogie-Woogie on the) King Of Rock n’ Roll,” and “Cottage Cheese.” They disbanded in 1972 but reformed again in 1988 and continue to play select concerts all over the United States. Crow was inducted into the South Dakota Rock and Roll Music Association in 2016. thecrowband.com
