Hi there! I’m Madisyn, and I like to make art out of the weird, the whimsical, and… usually something a little promiscuous. I’m fascinated with vintage fashion as well as old runways and the female figure. Most of my work is centralized around womanhood, themes of naivety, and sometimes a touch of the ominous. I rarely, if ever, feature men within my work as their stories do not resonate with me deeper than that of women through the ages. I like to revisit overlooked costumes, and even deeper, those who wore them. I’m also a fan of sketching some silly cats or scary animals.
I find peace in working with watercolors, and as I’ve grown more comfortable as an artist, have created multimedia collages and dabble in photoshop, some graphic design, and digital mediums.
