Darcy Millette lives and works in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She is a BFA Painting graduate from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. In 2017 Darcy and Anthony Millette started Millette Studio, a collaborative art studio and online shop that makes and sells paintings and ceramics.

Darcy’s creative practice includes mixed media paintings that combine drawing and painting to create a layered nuanced space that bridges the observation of the representational world with the unknown abstract spiritual world. Darcy’s attention to gardening and the cycles of growth and decomposition speak to the history of still-life painting.

Darcy has recently been involved in creating community-based murals and is looking forward to getting involved with more community projects.
