A Field Trip, the Ipso way – Four distinct art installations viewed through windows and an adventure around Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls, S.D., July 30, 2020 — Ipso Gallery at Fresh Produce is pleased to announce their next art exhibition, Field Trip. The downtown art space run by local advertising agency, Fresh Produce, is doing things a little differently for their summer curation of art and creativity. They invited local artists Luke Bryant, Amy Jarding, Erin Murtha and Eli Show to create four distinct installations at windows around their space which will be unveiled on Friday, August 14 at 11:00 am.

The summer exhibitions at Ipso Gallery are coordinated with the help of the Famous interns of Fresh Produce. They write and design all the promotional materials for the show, as well as plan and create the art experience for the opening of the show. This year, keeping social distancing in mind, they created limited edition kits to guide patrons on an immersive art experience and a unique adventure around Sioux Falls to enjoy some of Ipso Gallery’s favorite things.

“Luke, Amy, Erin and Eli have created distinct installations to be viewed through the windows around Ipso Gallery and Fresh Produce. They’ve played with textures, sculptural layers, and things that will transform over the course of the show—all relating back to their studio practices. A big bonus for Field Trip are 75 limited edition kits to guide your art-viewing experience and bring you a little flavor of Ipso Gallery receptions we’ve all come to love and miss so much,” said Liz Heeren, Gallery Director, Ipso Gallery at Fresh Produce.

The limited edition kits will be available for pick up at Ipso Gallery at Fresh Produce from August 10- 14, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. They’ve requested that all patrons wear masks during pick-up as well as while viewing the art installations August 14 onwards. For more information, visit www.facebook.com/ ipsogallery. They will be posting when they run out of the Field Trip kits.

ABOUT IPSO GALLERY

Ipso Gallery at Fresh Produce is a unique art space. Supported by an advertising agency, it’s strongly based on celebrating ideas and pursuing projects of interest, for fun or challenge. Ipso Gallery has been a strong part of the Sioux Falls art community, consistently exploring artistic expression since 2009. Ipso has held over 50 shows with unique works by artists from the region, who have gone on to exhibit around the country. Ipso stands out in its approach and vision when compared to its peers. The gallery explores the ideas behind the art and the creative processes involved in making it, not just the results alone. This is the main approach at Fresh Produce, too. Needless to say, the two are intrinsically

connected. Ipso Gallery has a very distinct story to tell — of creative space and collaboration possibly not seen anywhere else.
