Graduating art students at Augustana College will present their Senior Show April 19 through May 19 at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery. On exhibit will be a wide variety of works including ceramics, sculptures, printmaking, paintings, drawings, digital photography and graphic design. The 11 graduating artists are:

- Allison Henke (Northfield, Minn.)
- Cody Nesbitt (Alta, Iowa)
- Diana Ogden (Sioux Falls, S.D.)
- Samantha Perry (Sioux Falls, S.D.)
- Katrin Profilet (Sioux Falls, S.D.)
- Laura Thompson (Sioux Falls, S.D.)
- Kathryn Van Duynhoven (Mankato, Minn.)
- Lori Witte (Luverne, Minn.)
- Sarah Zobrist (Brandon, S.D.).
The seniors will give artist talks at Noon on Friday, April 20, and at 5:45 p.m. during the opening reception that will run from 5-7 p.m. that evening. The reception will include an evening of food, conversation, and a celebration of these seniors and the future of the visual arts. It is free and open to the public.
The reception will also feature the Art Department’s Awards ceremony. The Department will announce its purchase awards — artwork from the exhibition selected by the Art Department to become a part of its permanent art collection. It will also be an extra special evening as the Art Department and President Robert Oliver will bestow the Harold Spitznagel Medal for Achievement in Art to one senior. This is an award that is given to a senior who has displayed the highest standards of excellence throughout his/her Augustana career. This award is only granted occasionally and has not been given since 2007. The Awards Ceremony will begin at 5:45 p.m.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is located on Commons Circle (30th Street and Grange Avenue), in the Center for Visual Arts at Augustana College. The gallery is open to the public and free of charge. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, Noon to 5 p.m.
