Iowa folk artist J. Jeffrey Messerole joins Season 4 – come experience the filming for yourself!
The first album J. Jeffrey Messerole put out was a 6 track concept album, with the concept being: death and the 5 stages of grief that follow it up. It may have been a risky freshman attempt, but it was incredibly rewarding to create.
Self-taught guitarist, J. Jeffery Messerole is a folk music storyteller from Iowa’s Great Lakes region. Messerole masterfully blends the sound of his guitar, with haunting lyrics, and harmonica to tell gritty american tales, bound to evoke emotion from all of his listeners. Each song is a poignant, and sometimes, painful, snapshot of the lives of old souls and modern folk alike. Spanning the country from coast to coast, he’s happy to share his original folk and alternative country music rooted right here, in the heart of the Great Plains.
“Born and Raised Iowan folk/singer/songwriter and lyrical poet J Jeffrey Messerole…WARNING: THIS IS NOT SHITTY POP MUSIC!!” – Lenny Richardson (Best of Fools)
“His lyrics are clever and engaging, and real. His live music is incredibly fun” – Matt Andrews
