Join us in the Visual Arts Center on Saturday, September 10, at 10:30 a.m. for a Gallery Talk with artist Steven Stradley in conjunction with his exhibition, “Spatial Play.”
Rather than representing realistic scenes, Stradley’s work highlights the actual construction of the gallery space. Paintings turn corners and go up the ceiling, drawing attention to areas you’re not usually supposed to notice.
This exhibition is located in the VAC’s Corner Gallery, which is sponsored by AARP South Dakota.
After Stradley’s talk, don’t forget to check out the Sidewalk Arts Festival around the streets of the Washington Pavilion. The festival ends at 5p.m.!
