FREE Beginnerʼs Introductory Watercolor Class July 21st

The Basement Painters and the Brookings Arts Council are pleased to ofer a FREE Beginnerʼs Introductory Watercolor Class on July 21st from 1-4pm in the classroom of the Brookings Arts Council.
Get your feet wet with a watercolor class for the very beginner. This class will teach you what materials you need to get started as well as how to hold a brush and different ways to make marks on watercolor paper. Participants will paint a simple landscape with step-by-step guidance, to be completed in class.
This class is free, all materials will be provided and is limited to 10 participants.

Bob Semrad After retiring from United Methodist pastoring and Air Force Reserve Chaplaincy in 2005 Bob enrolled in the SDSU Visual Arts program and graduated with a BA in Visual Arts in 2010. Following graduation he continued to take art courses, and now is pursuing BFA degree.
Lee Peterson has worked in design and education for many years. She holds a minor in Art from SDSU as well a BS and MS. Her latest work is in watercolor with a loose style and she is presently learning to paint photorealistic botanicals.
