Here’s an old-fashioned mellerdramer with a side-splitting modern twist. The meanest man in town is president of the Gentle Grimmes Corporation, a disreputable rogue who has invented a smog machine which he plans to sell to developing nations so they can be “civilized.” He spies on his competitors, cheats on his income tax, bugs telephones, and even terminated a company traitor by dropping her in a paper shredder! His side project is ousting senior citizens from their humble cottage so he can build some new high-rise apartments. To accomplish this, he plans to force the lovely heroine, Little Saccharin to be his bride. When Dauntless Crusader, a consumer advocate, who plans to expose the villain for the wicked citizen he is arrives, complications arise. Such complications include wild chases, election rallies, and young love.
