This is a 2-hour long online performance for 1) Raising funds for the South Dakota African-American History Museum 2) Learning the classical and Jazz music traditions by African American composers and musicians
As we work with artists from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities, we would like to use our musical voice to support our African American community here in South Dakota. That is why we are very excited to invite you all to this 2-hour long LIVE-STREAM performance to celebrate African American culture through music, and to help raise funds for the South Dakota African-American History Museum.

We are exploring both classical and Jazz music traditions through various wonderful and legendary African American composers and musician. The string quartet will bring you different kinds of “classical” sound and music while the Jazz band will guide you through music that you MUST hear by Jazz legends!
