My name is Sarah Davidson, and I currently reside in Aberdeen, South Dakota.  I possess a diverse background deeply rooted in a passion for art in all it’s forms.  I see artistry everywhere – from the mundane to the extraordinary.  I enjoy photography, writing, painting and fostering a love for creativity in others, encouraging them to discover the artistic potential within themselves.  In the realm of photography, I’m particularly drawn to capturing the magnificence of the landscape of the South Dakota plains and the intricate details of the natural world through macro photography. I’m also drawn to the timeless elegance of black and white imagery.  In my opinion, it’s the subtle contrast that creates a striking visual impact.  As a self-taught artist, I embrace the continuous process of learning through experimentation and refinement. My primary focus is to reach individuals and underserved communities who may not have resources for art instruction or materials required for it’s creation.  I aim to introduce them to the diverse world of art, exploring various mediums and techniques while fostering a love for creativity.  I believe that everyone possesses an inherent artistic ability, and I strive to provide a supportive and encouraging environment where individuals can discover their own unique artistic voices.  Drawing inspiration from my own journey as a self-taught artist.
