From former United States Poet Laureate Ted Kooser, to popular western mystery writers C.J. Box and Craig Johnson. The South Dakota Humanities Council are continually seeking authors to entertain the diverse group of readers that attends our the South Dakota Festival of Books each year.
We compile our annual list of authors based on popularity at past festivals, nationwide trends, feedback and several other factors. Because our audience is so important to us, we would like to hear feedback from you, the audience
